About FILCON FABRICS
FILCON FABRICS is a division of Nippon Filcon Co., Ltd. Founded in 1916, Nippon Filcon has nearly a century of experience in producing paper forming media. In earlier years, we focused on metal wire meshes of phosphor bronze, stainless steel, twisted cable and other variations of similar materials. With the onset of plastic wires in the 1960's, we shifted our focus to developing plastic wire technology. Today, paper manufacturers worldwide who run our fabrics have a wide variety of fabric designs from which to choose.

Finishing Machine
FILCON’s forming fabrics are made with state-of-the-art machinery and tools. This includes 88 looms, automated seaming machines, and highly sophisticated heat setting and finishing machines. FILCON offers a wide selection of synthetic fabric designs: single-layers, 1.5-layers, double-layers, 2.5-layers ("EX" weaves) triple and triple weft - layers.
A Patent-Pended WSB (Warp Self Binding) Fabric Design
MD - FUJI/SAKURA Series
One of FILCON’s latest contributions to the industry is the development of WSB triple-layer forming fabrics. With a patent-pended unique design concept, FUJI/SAKURA series are well-recognized for their superior productivity and longer lifetime. The properties of FUJI/SAKURA series, like sheet support and drainage, are tailor-made to each customer’s requirements.
